Capital APMS is an integrated accounting and property management system designed to meet the needs of an organisation which owns and manages large multi-tenanted office buildings. It is in use in several companies in Australasia.
In September 2008 Capital APMS was released under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later. Originally the system depended on the proprietary 'Progress' RDBMS, but an alternative implementation is now available using the PostgreSQL database and a variety of front-end clients.
Morphoss has been devoting equal time to the conversion process on the basis of one hour working on the conversion for each hour we are paid to work on the older, Progress RDBMS based system, and from around June 2009 the system became usable as a basic accounting system, including Invoicing, Debtors, Creditors, General Ledger, automatic processing of downloaded bank statements, year end processing, and more, accessed through a PHP web front-end.
