DAViCal CalDAV Server

The DAViCal CalDAV Server is a server implementation of the CalDAV protocol for storing calendaring resources (iCalendar format) on a remote shared server. An increasing number of calendar clients support the maintenance of shared remote calendars via CalDAV including Mozilla Calendar (Sunbird/Lightning), Evolution, Mulberry, Chandler, KDE pim (Korganizer ) and Apple's iCal. DAViCal supports basic delegation of read/write access among calendar users and multiple users or clients reading and writing the same calendar entries over time.

DAViCal was originally developed by Andrew McMillan, and he continues to maintain the software in the tradition of free, open-source software. Assistance is available on IRC on the #davical channel on irc.oftc.net and there is ample information about the software on it's primary site at http://davical.org/.

We recognise, however, that some commercial organisations may wish to contract directly for DAViCal Support or may be looking for a hosted DAViCal CalDAV Server solution.

We're pleased to note that dotCal is using DAViCal and providing accounts, particularly suited for the purposes of business to consumer messaging.
